I would like to recomend you a wonderful trekking guide. I met Ammar by chance during dinner. He was very reserved and it took a long time until I found out, that he is leading people over the mountains. After eating and talking I decided to hire him as a trekking guide, and it was the right decision. Ammar and I spend twelve fantastic days together. We went to the Annapurna Base Camp and to Poon Hill. Ammar is an excellent, honest and reliable guide. He is independent and well educated as a goeverment guide with licence.

He speaks fluently English & German language, so that it was great to listen to him when he was telling me about his various knowledge about Nepal, the culture, the people and especially about the stories of the different places we where passing by.

He always find best places to stay and we had close contact to the local people. His timing and organization of the single day was so good. During the trek he was watching with eagle eyes for my safety. He was so sensitive and careful throughout the day and his smile and humor were a great companion.

I wanted to do a short trek from Pokhara to Poonhill (via Ghandruk and Ghorepani) and I wanted to complete the circuit in four days (most people take five) partly because I thought I could, partly because Ihad limited  time. I wanted to do the trek at my own pace, so I thought I would go alone but then I thought a guide would be good company would help me to see things along the way that that I might otherwise miss, and would help make sure I stuck to my schedule and didn't get lost. (I had never been trekking before.)

Ammar turned out to be the perfect guide for my trek. He looks like Nepal's answer to Tom Cruise, but he is much more intelligent than Tom Cruise. He is young and dynamic. He is very communicative and very considerate. His English is very good and he takes pride in being an outstanding guide.

He was able to tailor my trek to suit my needs. I like going fast, so we did! Sometimes we raced along the path, although Ammar with my safety in mind often encouraged me to go slower, and I know if you preferred a slower pace he would match your needs and make sure  you were comfortable. Ammar helped me to understand more about Nepali people and Nepali wildlife. He humoured my obsession with snow leopards (and the fact that we never saw one I will not hold against him!). He patiently taught me the names of the mountains and what their names meant. I made valiant progress with my Nepali words and phrases thanks to Ammar's guidance. I'm not quite fluent yet, but a few more days with Ammar and I felt like I might be. We sang songs to each other, told each other stories and made each other laugh.

The guest houses that Ammar arranged for us to stay at were all just right with great food and superb views. Trekking with Ammar was like trekking with a good friend. I had great fun, and I highly recommend  that you use him as your guide.

In November 2004 we did the Annapurna Circuit trekking with Ammar. It has been a great experience trekking with a guide, and in particular with Ammar. During the trekking, Ammar was not only a (good) guide, but also a true companion. Travelling with him has certainly enriched our experience of trekking!

I have been in Nepal in October 2005, with my girlfriend and two friend, and I want to recomends the wonderful trekking guide Ammar. We met Ammar by chance in pokhara Airport. He was very reserved and it took a long time until we found out, that he is leading people over the nepal himalaya. We see him in the pokhara at first time.
Ammar and all the group spend ten fantastic day?s togehter. We went to the Annapurna Base Camp and Dhampus trekking. Ammar is an excellent, honest and reliable guide. He is independent and well edjucated as a goeverment guide with licence. He speaks fluently english and Deutsch language , so that it was great to listen to him when he was telling us about his various knowledge about Nepal, the culture and nature, the people and especially about the stories of the different places we where passing by. He always find great places to stay and we had close contact to the local people. His timeing and organization of the sigle day?s was so good.

During the trek he was watching with eagle eyes for our safety. He was so sensitive and careful troughout the day and his smile and humor where a great companion. Right now he finished his graduation in Tourism and Hotel Managment. Ammar became a good friend and we still have contact by e-mail. So I will not hesitate to recomend you Ammar as a very good guide.
