Community Development Foundation Nepal !!

First of all, you are welcome to visit my home page to know more in details about our small project called Community Development Foundation Nepal (CDFN). It is not profit and unregistered organization till now. If we registered it, we have to pay some money to maintain this organization. So I decided to help the school and village directly without registering so that i can help them more better.  

Since 2001 i have been supporting two villages in Nuwakot district. i have been providing school stationery things for the students and sports material for the school as on a regular basis. The locals have always difficult to do hand to mouth. Most of the farmer works on field what ever they grow, always difficult to survive themselves. So they don't want to send their children to school. Most of the peoples had to go several hours to get clean drinking water; getting some physical help by the locals, I laid a pipeline and provided them water. I am educated personality from the same village who knows the various problems about the lifestyle of this village. So i decided to help our village to educate the people and hike their lifestyle since then. When I have clients, made a plan, 15 % of the net income from my Guiding profession will go directly to this village school.

This year, I am planning to do renew one school which is approximately behind of Gosaikunda lake, a famous lake for pilgrimage destination. This school has no furniture, water supply, toilets, sports materials for the children and school uniform. So I am going to help them soon. I will update the pictures when the program is finish.

Making a financial donation: Financial donations are always welcome and appreciated. A little help can go a long way to improving the life of a mountain poor children. We accept cash donation by bank money transfer or by western union money transfer or directly visit this project and give to the school management committee.  

Sponsor a students ! : You can sponsor students as he / she goes to schools

Organize a Fundraising Trek! : Gather a group and come to enjoy a trek through the magical Himalayas with both experienced staff & trainees.

Supplies: If you're coming to Nepal for the purpose of trekking, and looking for a simple but effective way to help, leave a little extra room in your suite case for a few supplies to leave with Community Development Foundation Nepal (Our project), we collect and give to school

Trekking Supplies: Most of the new trekking guide / porter do not have any good trekking gear when they begin in the program and the CDFN provides the necessary equipment. Any new or used equipment would be very valuable to build the stock room. Helpful items to bring or leave behind include: 

Children's Program: Your gifts for the children are greatly appreciated, but we ask that donations are made through the Community Development Foundation Nepal rather than giving them directly to the children. The reason for this is to maintain good relations between children and tourists and not promote begging, which has become intense in some areas. The organization can arrange informal meetings in which you could possibly offer your gifts at the family home, or gifts can be distributed by the organization as they are needed.

Gift for the School children:

• English pocket dictionaries.
