The best way to see Nepal and connect with her land and people is by walking on foot, depending on the area you wish to trek in and the degrees of difficulty you are willing to face. The trails are well maintained, and many trails up steep slopes are often paved with stones. Trekking in Nepal entails walking up and down countless times. Most treks go through areas, between 1000-3000 m, although the Everest Base Camp Trek and the Annapurna Circuit Trek, undoubtedly the most popular trek routes, reach over 5000 m.
